Eric Jonson Strat

The Eric Johnson signature strat is the only Fender Stat currently in production that I really like. Although not perfect and very over priced, it is basically at the quality level a strat should be at for a serious guitarist.

Regardless of quality, Fender guitars are quite collectible. Prices are starting to go up for certain models from the 80's and early Custom Shop guitars are going to be quite collectible. These guitars are eventually going to be worth much more than the 70's instruments as time goes on.

Made in Japan (MIJ) Stratocasters are superior to American models. They cost less too.
